The Symetrix SOLUS-NX-8X8 is a DSP processor. The device provides eight analog inputs that are selectable as line or mic level with fine trim and phantom power plus eight analog line outputs that are adjustable with fine trim. Levels, phantom powers, signal inversions and mutes are controllable via software. Audio connections shall be accessed via rear panel 3.81 mm terminal block connectors.

Solus NX is ideal for small to large installed sound environments, handling DSP-intensive processing, routing and delay in complex environments, automixing, paging, zone mixing, routing and distribution, mic/line processing, AGC, room combining, and more. The Solus NX features a high-resolution graphic OLED which displays system status and metering, with onboard GPIO and single push-button to navigate menus.

Solus NX also offers integration with Symetrix' award-winning Composer CAD based design software. Now integrators need only to be familiar with a single programming platform to manage all Symetrix open-architecture DSPs, including Solus NX, Radius, Prism and Edge.

Features

Three audio input/output options: All three models feature a front panel high-resolution graphic OLED for display of system status and audio levels. A single push-button is used to navigate menus.
A single application fits all: Solus NX (along with Symetrix Radius, Prism and Edge DSPs) is programmed using Composer, Symetrix’ award winning Windows CAD application.
Multiple end user control options: Solus NX DSPs can be controlled from Symetrix ARC wall panels including the universal mount ARC-3, the virtual ARC-WEB, a custom SymVue Windows executable, third-party Ethernet equipped touch panels, or a combination of any or all of the above.
Transparency: Solus NX’ embedded web server displays analog I/O levels, diagnostics, and hosts the ARC-WEB control interface. The server is accessible from any networked smart phone, tablet or computer by simply entering into the browser’s address field Solus NX’ local LAN or publicly accessible IP address, or its fully qualified domain name.

Three Analog Audio Input/Output Options. Solus NX 4×4 (4 in, 4 out), Solus NX 8×8 (8 in, 8 out), Solus NX 16×8 (16 in, 8 out). All three models feature front panel display of system status and analog audio levels with the use of single push-button to navigate menus.

Control Made Easy. Multiple control options include low-cost Symetrix ARC wall panels and an easy to generate SymVue Windows virtual GUI. The human readable Composer Control Protocol supports programming of third-party touch screens and control devices.

An Embedded Web Server for Status and Even More Control. Solus NX’ embedded web server displays I/O levels, diagnostics data, and hosts ARC-WEB – a browser-based interface for smart phones, tablets, and computers.
